Night stands are Small Irony Tables

Italian Designer Maurizio Peregalli recently launched his simple but sophisticated Irony Collection which works as well in a modern loft with contemporary furnishings as it does in a home replete with traditional antiques.

Irony pieces have surfaces with slight irregularities that create the illusion of wood, yet they are expertly crafted in Milan, Italy from phosphatized steel with a dark blue-black finish evocative of fine Venetian ironwork.

The straight lines and openness of the entire collection are pleasing to the eye and evoke a sense of tranquility and possibilities. The real irony to this collection is how well it works in small and large spaces. Also, people can’t believe it’s constructed of steel since its color and texture actually exceed the warmth and comfort of many contemporary wood furniture pieces.

A natural beeswax finish brings the rich hues of the Irony Collection to life. To keep your Irony pieces looking lustrous, please clean them first with a dry rag in order to remove traces of oxidation and wax. Then, for cleaning, use a non aggressive/soft detergent as you would with a wood product. Twice a year, we suggest that you lightly coat surfaces with beeswax removing it after one night with a dry rag.
